Greg Coulson began serious riding in 1964. He competed in western pleasure, equitation, trail and gymkhana as a teenager. He worked as a cowboy, groom / exercise man for harness racing, trail guide, and pack master. During college he switched to English riding, specializing in eventing, dressage, and jumpers. He apprenticed with Gene Lewis and has extensive experience working under members of the U.S. Equestrian Team. He has successfully competed in dressage, jumpers, and eventing from coast to coast. He has been a fence judge for the Olympic Games, produced the Reserve National Champion 3 Day Event Young Rider, as well as trained students through all levels of the United States Pony Clubs. He graduated from UC Davis with degrees in Animal Science and Anthropology. Over the years he earned a Community College Instructor Credential in Horsemanship, and a Masters in Educational Administration.
Lauren Royce began serious riding in 1977. She has successfully competed through first level dressage, novice horse trials, and training jumpers. She has extensive experience as a riding instructor. She graduated from USC with a degree in Psychology and earned Multiple Subject and Special Education Teaching Credentials.
